They say the sun shines on the righteous...enough said!

But the sun is up there somewhere; despite what the gizmo says though, it's not down here.

So, did they go to court by car or can they afford a taxi from their reportedly ill-gotten claim?

Proud to be British?

The calm before the storm, in more ways than one. Surely there must be a better way to refer to Travellers than "Tolerated". See more at...    http://www.theargus.co.uk/

From the look of the sea it doesn't look as though the lifeguards are going to be stretched today but then neither can you imagine ice-cream sales people running out of cones.

...and the mercury continues to rise. The air pressure is up from 991 yesterday to 997 today.

The Mercury is rising!

The mercury is rising, as they used to say before the days of Health and Safety and digital equipment. The mercury rising refers to the old mercury filled barometers so that when the mercury fell in the tube it indicated a storm brewing and when the mercury rose it was an indication of good weather which is what we've got in Brighton at the moment - 09.55

The "mercury" or pressure has risen from 987 yesterday to 991 today...

And finally the news...isn't he or she doing what we all try to do? It's just that they've got attitude.

At least it's not raining!

Went for an early morning walk along the seafront; must be the perfect hangover cure...if you survive.

As you may know the new Amex stadium, home to the "Seagulls" has recently opened, so "If you don't want to know what the score is, look away now" or go to.... http://www.theargus.co.uk/ or http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/Home

What can I say about the weather except that this gizmo is lying and there's no sign of Sun but the pressure at 987 is slightly up on Saturday's 984

Saturday is stay at home day

I wish I could say that my camera was at fault but I've just got home...soaked. Let's hope it clears up a bit for the bikers tomorrow. Find out more here....http://brightona.brighton-rock.net/

I'm still trying to understand this gizmo of mine but I suspect that you need to know no more than the image of the clouds and the unhappy 'smiley'

Would that be a French teacher? To find out more, go to...http://www.theargus.co.uk/

Bruce is on Holiday

But that doesn't stop me posting a photo of the AIDS Memorial in the New Steine in Brighton, just to the East of the Brighton Pier

But for the weather...I'm afraid you'll have to try the seaweed
